Earlier this week, GWM Malaysia has introduced the 2025 GWM Haval H6 HEV, now with a Phantom Black interior finishing.

Phantom Black is now available as a no-cost option

The newly available Phantom Black colour scheme swaps out the previously offered rose gold and beige tones. It now features black and silver accents across the dashboard, door panels, centre console, and seats, offering a more premium and understated look.

For those who still appreciate the original dual-tone interior, GWM Malaysia continues to offer both options to suit customer demands.

2025 GWM Haval H6 HEV also gets better warranty coverage

In addition to the new Phantom Black interior finishing, GWM Malaysia has also upgraded the Haval H6 HEV’s hybrid battery warranty, from 8 years/1,000,000 km to 10 years/1,000,000 km.

On top of that, the HEV battery warranty now follows the car and is transferable to the next owner. The second owner will get to enjoy similar benefits as the first owner, albeit with a shorter engine warranty (7 years/200,000 km warranty).

As before, power for the Haval H6 HEV comes from a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that does 150 PS and 230 Nm, hooked up to a two-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT). Said DHT houses an electric motor that adds another 177 PS and 300 Nm, allowing for a combined system output of 243 PS and 530 Nm.

Claimed fuel consumption of the Haval H6 HEV is 5.8L/100 km. Coupled with its large 61 litre fuel tank, this C-segment SUV can travel up to 1,000 km on a tank of petrol – a figure that has put the Haval H6 HEV in the ASEAN Records.

“Our customers have made it clear — there’s a strong preference for interiors that feel modern and refined. We are proud to deliver on that, while continuing to lead with performance and value,” said Roslan Abdullah, Chief Operating Officer of GWM Malaysia. “Malaysian drivers are savvy. They know real value goes beyond the price tag. With the GWM Haval H6 HEV, you are getting premium specifications, strong performance, and proven reliability in one complete package.”
